The information you will be required to submit is similar to that required on previous entry forms.

You may add, delete and change images to your entry at any time up until you pay for the entry, when it becomes Complete.

You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card or by PayPal account using our secure checkout system. Once your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry and to edit artist and image information; however you will not be able to delete or substitute images.

Eligible Work

  • Exhibition is open to juried NAWA members and to nonmembers. Entrants must be 18+ years old, US Citizens and/or permanent residents.
  • Maximum size for 3-D wall works and wall hanging sculpture NOTE CHANGE: 20" x 20" x 5" deep (no exceptions); maximum weight: 30 lbs. No ceiling hung artworks will be accepted.
  • Accepted works cannot be substituted and must be available for the duration of the exhibition.
  • All works MUST be original.
  • All works must be for sale.

Image Specifications

All images must be high quality jpeg (jpg) image files. Set your camera to the highest possible quality image, use good lighting on your painting without any glass in front of it, and use a tripod for your camera. You must crop out all parts of the photo that are not the actual painting; do not show mat, frame, etc, only the painting itself. Please save at 72 dpi resolution, with a size of 1200-1500 pixels on the longer side of the image. The upload system will not accept very large files, so you must reduce the native image size to these specifications.

We expect you to submit two images (two views) of each piece you enter. You will submit the images in sequence, i.e. the two views of piece #1, then the two views of piece #2, etc. IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE IMAGE FOR A PIECE OF SCULPTURE, PLEASE SUBMIT IT TWICE!

Prepare your images using these specifications BEFORE you start the entry process!

Filename Instructions

Name your image files

Use the following protocol for giving your image file a name for submission: Start with your last name, followed by an underscore, followed by your first initial, followed by another underscore, then the title of the image without spaces followed by the sequence number, then make sure it has the extension ".jpg".

For example: Rodin_A_TheThinker1.jpg and Rodin_A_TheThinker2.jpg.

Shorten long titles in the filename, please, and remove all spaces, non-standard characters and quotation marks.

On the entry form in the box for Title do enter the actual title of the piece as you would want it to appear in the show catalogue.

All work must be for sale.

All accepted artwork shall be offered for sale. A commission of 30% of the sales price shall be retained by NAWA. Prices shall remain fixed, and any pieces sold shall remain in the exhibit until final close of show.
