Judge’s Statement

I was overwhelmed with the quality and variety of the work in this exhibit and it was very difficult to choose winners. I was pleased to see so much plein air work being done, given the harshness of our desert surroundings and the effort it takes to get outside and paint. In my book you are all winners.
