Judge’s Statement

In evaluating each submission, I looked for technical mastery paired with authentic conceptual depth. The selected works stand out for their clarity of vision—pieces where the medium directly serves the message, whether through meticulous control, bold material experimentation, or emotional resonance. Beyond individual technical achievement, priority was given to artwork that invites sustained engagement and challenges the viewer to look closer. The works selected are works I kept returning to. Thank you to all the participating artists for sharing your vision and allowing me a window into your creative practice, and to the organizers for bringing this exhibition to life.
