Juror of Selection

Fang Sullivan

Fang Sullivan is a New York City–based contemporary figurative artist specializing in pastel and oil painting. She is a Master Circle member of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS), a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America (PSA) and the American Artists Professional League (AAPL), and an Artist Member of the Salmagundi Club.

Trained in the classical tradition from an early age, Fang earned her BFA from the School of Visual Arts and continued her studies at the Art Students League of New York. She teaches a weekly Pastel Portraits from Life class through PSA Studios and drawing courses through PSA Academy.

Fang’s award-winning paintings have been featured in prestigious national juried exhibitions. Combining classical draftsmanship with contemporary expression, her work is distinguished by bold color, dynamic mark-making, and a sophisticated command of value and composition. Her paintings balance technical mastery with expressive freedom, capturing the light, form, and emotional depth of her subjects.
