About
In this Online Art Gallery Show the artist will be asked to choose or create an art piece that celebrates creative voices. The Las Vegas Artists’ Guild (LVAG) invites artists of all experience levels working in all artistic mediums to participate in “Fresh Start”, our first Online Gallery Show of the new year. This exhibition is designed to encourage creativity, reflection, and community by highlighting the diverse talents within our membership—and welcoming new artists to join us.
“Fresh Start” is not about creating something new (though you are welcome to). Artists are encouraged to submit work from their existing body of workpieces that feel meaningful, representative, or simply right to share as we begin a new year together. While the show does not follow a strict theme, artists will be asked to include a short description explaining why they chose the piece(s) and what inspired them to submit it for this first show of the year.

"Although currently working with mostly modern living artists my background was founded in 18th to 20th-century "Old Masters" such as Albrecht Durer, Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Picasso, Chagall, Miro, Alexander Calder, and Dali and so on. I continue my career representing the most sought-after artists today all of which have a significant cultural following and utilize unique types of techniques and mediums to express their craft. I now direct galleries for a very innovative and dynamic group driven to contribute to forwarding the culture of creative evolution."

Entry Fees
- LVAG Members: An entry fee of $45 is required from each LVAG member in good standing for 3 entries.
- Each artist may submit up to 2 additional entries for $10 each additional entry for a maximum of 5 entries.
- You must be a LVAG member in good standing to enter.
- Each entry will be accepted into the online art show if all requirements are met.
- If you are not a LVAG member or your membership has expired you need to complete a membership application form on our LVAG Membership page found on our LVAG website before the entry deadline.
Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.
Categories
There are 2 categories to choose from for your art entry. If a painting does not meet the criteria for the category it was entered, it will be disqualified.
Choose the category that best fits your art piece. Your choices are:
- 2D Artwork includes Painting and Drawing Artwork (Acrylic, Oil, Pastel, Watercolor, Encaustic, Mixed Media), Drawing, Ceramics (flat and ready to hang) and Photography and Digital Artwork. Digital art is described as any artwork that draws upon digital technology as an essential part of its creative process.
- 3D Artwork presented in the dimensions of height, width, and depth, occupy physical space and can be perceived from all sides and angles. Sculptures, pottery art, porcelain, glassware, jewelry, fabric art, some mixed media art and other works that have depth and can be viewed from multiple angles.
Eligibility
The “Fresh Start” Online Art Gallery Show will be open to all LVAG members in good standing. If you are not a LVAG member or your membership has expired you need to complete a membership application form on the LVAG Membership page found on the LVAG website before the entry deadline.

Artwork Requirements
NOTE: An art piece that has won top awards and received a monetary prize in a previous LVAG Online Art Gallery Show it may not be reentered into future LVAG Online Art Gallery Shows.
Allowed Mediums
- Art must be the artist’s original work.
- Artwork mediums include acrylic, pastel, oils, watercolor, mixed media, drawing, digital art, encaustic, photography, sculpture, ceramics, porcelain, glassware, original wearable art, and jewelry.
- Only original compositions and artwork by the artist are accepted.
- Jewelry must be of an original concept and design.
Not Allowed
- Artwork that was entered into a previous LVAG Online Art Gallery Event and won a monetary prize will not be accepted into the “Fresh Start” Online Art Gallery Show.
- Artwork cannot be original art created in a different format such as mugs, tiles, pillows, or clothing.
- Artwork done in an art class or workshop is not permitted.
- Art may not be based on copyright protected sources.
- Subjects that are nudes or adult themed and uncompleted works of art are not permitted.
- No copy giclee prints are allowed.
LVAG reserves the right to refuse any painting or work of art that does not meet these standards. Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.

Sales
Paintings may be priced for sale or not for sale (NFS). Changes may not be permitted after the deadline to be submitted. All sales inquiries from a prospective customer will be submitted through the Artist Spotlight page on the LVAG website. The potential customer will be able to notify the artist about their interest in purchasing a work of art. The artist will be entirely responsible for all aspects of the sale of their artwork. LVAG will not collect commission fees for this art show.

Image and Filename Specifications
- File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
- Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
- Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
- Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
- File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
- File Size: There is a 30mb maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.
Additional Entry Information
- You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
- After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (February 27, 2026.)
- Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
- Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
