Birding in the Indiana Dunes offers some of the best experiences in the state. With rich biodiversity, diverse habitats, and miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, the area is a prime hotspot for migrating birds. The Indiana Dunes Birding Festival celebrates this natural diversity and exceptional birding opportunities, aiming to inspire visitors and local residents through environmental education, conservation efforts, and support for the local economy.
