Scottsdale Artists League is proud of our beautiful juried show in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. It’s an amazing opportunity to showcase your Western and Southwestern artwork. Canopy by Hilton welcomes locals and visitors alike. Their rooftop lounge is a top attraction. Canopy hosts many groups year-round; their meeting rooms are right next to our exhibition area. What a gem!

Exhibition Requirements
- You must be a paid member of SAL in good standing. Become a Member
- Entries limited to 2D, original artwork providing the work created is not an unauthorized copy of another artist’s work. Canopy Hotel requires all artwork to be western/southwestern theme (flora, fauna, and/or culture).
- Paintings less than 1.5” deep must be framed.
- Size limitations (including frames) Largest: 40” on any size; Smallest: 11”x14”
- You may not exchange or fail to submit a painting once selected.
- Label your artwork on the back with your name, dimensions, and artwork title. SAL will provide title cards.
Entry Instructions
- Submit up to four (4) artworks
- Submit high-quality JPG images.
- The image must be art only – no gaps, mat, or frame showing.
- Include for each work – Title, Medium, Artwork Size and Framed Size

Sales
Work must be for sale; NFS is not allowed.
Canopy does not wish to participate in the sales process in any way. SAL will handle all sales. If your artwork is sold, we will contact you as soon as possible. If you cannot replace the same day with a similar size, we reserve the right to replace it with another artist’s work so the space isn’t left empty. If Buyer requests artwork to be shipped, Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including shipping insurance. Shipping arrangements and payment will be between Artist and Buyer.

Scottsdale Artists League will handle all sales and distribution to the artist will be by the Treasurer. Distributions will be 30% to the Scottsdale Artists League, and 70% to the artist.
Terms
By participating in this show, SAL member understands and agrees with the following:
- To protect, defend, hold harmless, and fully indemnify the Scottsdale Artists League and Canopy by Hilton Hotel and any of their associates for any claim or course of action whatsoever including loss or damage, or action for any damages to submitted art, display, or personal injury which SAL member may sustain as a result of participation in this event.
- Photos/videos of any art in this show may be used in promotions by Scottsdale Artists League and/or Canopy by Hilton.
- Scottsdale Artists League’s Artists Reference Material Usage Policy (Rules for Using Photos and Pictures)

Additional Notification Information
Notifications will be emailed and posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on March 13, 2026.
If you do not receive your email, login and view the notification in your account. We cannot respond to inquiries regarding the status of notifications.
Image and Filename Specifications
- File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
- Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
- Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
- Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
- File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
- File Size: There is a 30mb maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.
Additional Entry Information
- You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
- After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (March 6, 2026.)
- Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
- Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
