About the Exhibition

The Fulton Street Collective (FSC) announces an open call for art for our annual “Tiny Works” group show.

Drawings on paper and photographs must be framed. Paintings need not be framed, but must be wired when possible.

Artists may submit up to three pieces, and must provide the title, dimensions, media, and price (if for sale). FSC will provide labels to accompany each artwork.

Entry Fees

  • Non-Members: $35 for up to three pieces.
  • Members: Gratis
Entry fee is non-refundable, and does not guarantee acceptance into this show. Acceptance of artwork is entirely at the discretion of the curator. Members of the Fulton Street Collective do not pay a submission fee.

Exhibition Requirements

  • All mediums considered.
  • Largest side can only be no longer than 13 inches, including frame.
  • Drawings on paper and photographs must be framed.
  • Paintings need not be framed, but must be wired when possible.
  • No sawtooth hangers.
  • Artists may submit up to three pieces, and must provide the title, dimensions, media and price (if for sale).
  • FSC will provide labels to accompany each artwork.
  • Artwork will remain up during all events and concerts at The Fulton Street Collective until pickup day (or until sold).

Sales

Work may be for sale; NFS is allowed. Participating artists who are not members will pay a 20% commission on any art sales. FSC members pay no commission on sales.

Liability

Every care in handling artwork will be taken by our installers, but they assume no liability if artwork is damaged in transport or installation due to improper packaging.

Artwork Drop off

Art drop off is at The Fulton Street Collective, 1821 W. Hubbard Suite 307, Chicago, IL.

There are two drop off days available:
  1. Sunday, November 29, 2026 from 12–4pm
  2. Monday, November 30, 2026 from 3–6:30pm
We do not accept shipped artworks. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Artwork Pick up

Pickup of unsold artwork will be Sunday, January 3 2027, 12–4pm.

Artwork not picked up by Feb 3, 2027 becomes the property of fsc.

Image and Filename Specifications

  • File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
  • Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
  • Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
  • Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
  • File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
  • File Size: There is a 30MB maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.

Additional Entry Information

  • You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
  • After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (November 25, 2026.)
  • Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
  • Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

Notifications Are Posted in Your Account

Results will be posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on November 27, 2026. You will also receive an email.
