About the Sale

The FALL FEST continues a 20 year tradition of hosting an art festival, which has been located at various locations on and o site over the years. In 2025 the event came back on site to the Arts Center to rave reviews! The event combines a Fine Arts & Crafts Market with an Open House at the Community Arts Center featuring live music, tours, artist demonstrations, kids activities, food vendors and more. Weather permitting, there will be indoor and outdoor activities. In the case of rain, it will all take place indoors. Admission to the event is free.

Eligibility

  • Open to all artists.

Submission Requirements

  • 5 images: 4 work samples and 1 image of booth/display.
Please note: For accepted artists, your submission photos will be used on the website and in other publicity.

Entry Fee

  • Jury Fee: $15 (paid with submission).
  • Booth Fee — CAC Members: $50. Non-Members: $60 (paid upon acceptance).
Accepted artists will be asked to pay the booth fee within 7 days of acceptance. Entry fees and booth fees are nonrefundable.

Information for Applicants

  • Work will be accepted in the following categories: Drawing and Pastels, Graphics and Printmaking, Oil and Acrylic, Watercolor, Mixed Media, Ceramics, Glass, Sculpture, Fibers, Wood, Jewelry and Metal, Photography, Digital media, and other fine craft.
  • Digital reproductions (prints) of hand made work are permitted, including notecards, calendars or other reproductions.
  • Exhibitors will be permitted to exhibit only the type of work submitted to the jury.
  • If entering in more than one category, please clearly state that in application and include examples of each type.

    As an example, jewelry cannot be exhibited with another medium unless approved by the jury.
  • Unacceptable items include: Imported work of any type, work created by a person other than the artist, greenware pottery, sculpture from molds, handicrafts, mass produced factory art, as well as any other items deemed by the CAC to not fall within the spirit of the festival requirements. Selected artists may NOT display OR sell these items at the Festival.

Sales

The artist must be present for the entire day of the festival and will be responsible for the sale of her/his work. No agents, dealers or merchants are permitted. Each work exhibited at the Festival must be clearly labeled with the price. Artists collect their own payments. There are no commissions charged by the Community Arts Center on any sales.

Artist's Agreement

As an applicant to the Community Arts Center’s FALL FEST, I accept the decision of the Jury of Selection and will exhibit per regulations if selected. Applicant hereby releases the Community Arts Center, personal liability (injury), loss damage or legal action that may arise or occur to exhibitor, his/her goods, property or the public from any condition whatsoever during the preparation and set-up and duration of the sale under this agreement. The applicant is solely responsible for his/her person and property during said sale and maintains insurance against loss or theft, if desired, at his/her expense. This application for entry constitutes an agreement on the part of the applicant that he/she accepts the above said statements as detailed. I also confirm that the work entered and exhibited is created by me, as required under the Community Arts Center’s FALL FEST regulations.

Accepted artists will be asked to pay the booth fee within 7 days of acceptance. If an exhibitor must cancel, 50% of the booth fee will be refunded prior to August 1, 2026. There will be no refunds for cancellations after August 1, 2026.

The Community Arts Center is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for artists at all levels of their creative journey, encouraging participation in the arts through advocacy, education and outreach, and serving as a vital creative resource for the community.

History
The Community Arts Center was founded in 1948 by a group of local artists. Committed to excellence and inclusiveness, CAC is a widely respected resource for both professional and amateur artists offering instruction in the visual arts for adults and children. It hosts an extensive program of classes, exhibits, concerts, a popular summer camp, and a variety of collaborative outreach programs in the community.

Image and Filename Specifications

  • File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
  • Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
  • Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
  • Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
  • File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
  • File Size: There is a 30mb maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.

Additional Entry Information

  • You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
  • After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (May 1, 2026.)
  • Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
  • Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
