Perspective is one of the most basic tenets of art. Used to create depth and dimension, perspective takes creativity on flat surfaces and brings the work to life. Imagine deep, misty woodlands with layers of trees. A cityscape, like New York City, with intersecting straight roads and building corners. A quaint cottage puffing smoke out of the chimney alongside a gravel road. A dinner table, with linens, plates, and a feast of fruits and vegetables all scattered around the table. For this upcoming exhibition at the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts, we’re looking for your best pieces that illustrate depth, dimension, and perspective–even if, "ALTERED" to make it more fun!
