Photo Tips

It is CRITICAL that your image submission be properly prepared/submitted or it may be subject to disqualification.
  • It is best to take the photo in natural light (outdoors or near a window). Avoid obvious shadows. Avoid Glare (remove all artwork from behind glass before taking the photo)
  • Square up and take the photo “straight on”, so that there is no distortion. For 3D pieces, take photo at eye level.
  • Image must be uploaded/displayed right side up.
  • For all 3-D pieces, be sure the background is not distracting. Take photo at eye level
  • For Poetry - all verbiage must be uploaded in one photo. Be sure it is legible.
