Exhibition

Art Studio Hamptons Gallery invites artists to submit work for Elemental Rhythms, an open exhibition exploring the beauty, power and movement of the natural world.

Elemental Rhythms is inspired by the rhythms of earth, water, air and fire. This exhibition celebrates the ever-changing landscapes, seasons, and ecosystems that shape our lives. Through a wide range of artistic mediums, artists are encouraged to interpret nature's patterns, forces, and quiet moments, revealing the deep connections between the environment and the human experience. Whether representational or abstract, Elemental Rhythms seeks works that capture the energy, harmony, and enduring spirit of the natural world.

Accepted Artists

All accepted artists artwork will be exhibited at the “Elemental Rhythms” Exhibition at Art Studio Hamptons Gallery in Westhampton Beach, New York. from August 15 – September 13, 2026.

Accepted artists will also have the opportunity to upload up to 10 additional approved artworks to our Gallery database online portfolio which is available to clients and where we request artwork for additional shows throughout the year.

Entry Fees

  • Up to 5 works.
  • $30 for the first work.
  • $10 for each additional work.
Entry fees are non-refundable. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

Eligiblility

  • Open to all national and international artists.
  • Accepted mediums include oils, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, oil pastel, encaustic, colored pencil, silverpoint, graphite, pen and ink, digital art, photography, scratchboard, charcoal, sculpture and mixed media.
  • Gallery wrapped canvas without frame is acceptable.
  • No size limit.
  • No AI generated artwork.
  • Artists are responsible for providing images with an accurate representation of their work.
  • Artwork must be original and ready for hanging.
  • All accepted artworks must be professionally framed with wire for hanging.
  • Works not received by the stated dates will not be hung.
  • Acceptance/Rejection emails will arrive via ShowSubmit.
  • Artists can edit their own entries during the entirety of the submission period through ShowSubmit.
  • After the submission deadline, changes to submission entry will not be accepted.
Submissions not adhering to the above guidelines may be omitted from the exhibition.

Jurors

Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, technique/skill, presentation, and overall quality and cohesiveness within the show.

Sales

Work must be for sale; NFS is not allowed.

There is a customary 50/50 split between the artist and the gallery on all sales. All accepted artwork shall remain on exhibit for the duration of the show, including any sold items.

Artwork Delivery

Accepted artwork may be hand-delivered to Art Studio Hamptons Gallery, 108 Main Street #2, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 on Monday, August 10, 2026 between 3–8pm.

Shipped Work

After acceptance, works being shipped must be sent in Air Float boxes with the name of the exhibition on the outside of the package. Artists who do not utilize Air Float boxes will not be opened and exhibited. We use the boxes to safely ship sold artwork to clients.

Artwork Removal

Works must be removed immediately after the exhibition. A pre-paid return shipping label must be provided by the artist, if the work is to be shipped back after the exhibition

We do not have storage or are responsible for artwork that is not picked up. Retrieval of hand-delivered items is scheduled for Monday, September 14, 2026 between 3–8pm at Art Studio Hamptons Gallery.

Additional Notification Information

Notifications will be emailed and posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on July 24, 2026.

If you do not receive your email, login and view the notification in your account. We cannot respond to inquiries regarding the status of notifications.

Image and Filename Specifications

  • File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
  • Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
  • Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
  • Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
  • File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
  • File Size: There is a 30mb maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.

Additional Entry Information

  • You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
  • After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (July 17, 2026.)
  • Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
  • Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
