About the Exhibition

Art Studio Hamptons Gallery invites artists to submit original, intimate, works no larger than 12 x 18. A sweet statement piece or perfect gift-you can build a whole wall around these small joys.

Smalls for the Walls
Open to all traditional and handmade mediums, this show highlights the creativity and impact of small-scale works that are perfect for gifting or adding a unique touch to any space. All original mediums are welcome. Work must not exceed 18 x 24 inches. (No AI-generated work please).

Whether you're an established artist or emerging talent, we invite you to share your best small works and help make this holiday season one filled with meaningful, one-of-a-kind art.

Accepted Artists

All accepted artists artwork will be exhibited at the “Smalls for the Walls” Exhibition at Art Studio Hamptons Gallery in Westhampton Beach, New York from November 7 – December 21, 2026.

Entry Fees

  • Up to 5 works.
  • $30 for the first work.
  • $10 for each additional work.
Entry fees are non-refundable. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

Eligiblility

  • Open to all national and international artists.
  • Accepted mediums include oils, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, oil pastel, encaustic, colored pencil, silverpoint, graphite, pen and ink, digital art, photography, scratchboard, charcoal, sculpture and mixed media.
  • Gallery wrapped canvas without frame is acceptable.
  • Artwork size should be 24” x 24” or smaller, including frame.
  • No AI generated artwork.
  • Artists are responsible for providing images with an accurate representation of their work.
  • Artwork must be original and ready for hanging.
  • All accepted artworks must be professionally framed with wire for hanging.
  • Works not received by the stated dates will not be hung.
  • Acceptance/Rejection emails will arrive via ShowSubmit.
  • Artists can edit their own entries during the entirety of the submission period through ShowSubmit.
  • After the submission deadline, changes to submission entry will not be accepted.
Submissions not adhering to the above guidelines may be omitted from the exhibition.

Jurors

Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, technique/skill, presentation, and overall quality and cohesiveness within the show.

Sales

Work must be for sale; NFS is not allowed.

There is a customary 50/50 split between the artist and the gallery on all sales. All accepted artwork shall remain on exhibit for the duration of the show, including any sold items.

Artwork Delivery

Accepted artwork may be hand-delivered to Art Studio Hamptons Gallery, 108 Main Street #2, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 on Monday, Monday 2, 2026 between 3–8pm.

Shipped Work

After acceptance, works being shipped must be sent in Air Float boxes with the name of the exhibition on the outside of the package. Artists who do not utilize Air Float boxes will not be opened and exhibited. We use the boxes to safely ship sold artwork to clients.

Artwork Removal

Works must be removed immediately after the exhibition. A pre-paid return shipping label must be provided by the artist, if the work is to be shipped back after the exhibition

We do not have storage or are responsible for artwork that is not picked up. Retrieval of hand-delivered items is scheduled for Monday, December 21, 2026 between 3–8pm at Art Studio Hamptons Gallery.

Notifications Are Posted in Your Account

Results will be posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on October 16, 2026. You will also receive an email.

Log in and check your account. We are unable to answer individual inquiries about results.

Image and Filename Specifications

  • File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
  • Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
  • Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
  • Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
  • File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
  • File Size: There is a 30MB maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.

Additional Entry Information

  • You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
  • After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (October 9, 2026.)
  • Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
  • Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
