Entry Fees

• $40 for one work. $10 for each additional work up to 4.
• Diptych counts as two pieces.
• Maximum 4 works per artist.
• There is no refund to entrants whose work is not accepted in the show.

Eligibility Requirements

• Open to Exhibiting Status 2025-2026 CAG members.
• Original painting or photography artwork completed within the past two years is eligible.
• Workshop or class produced art is ineligible for entry.
• Maximum art size including frame is 38” w x 48” h.
• Minimum art size including frame is 8” w x 10” h.

Additional Criteria

1. The work is the artist’s original creation and is not in whole or in part, a copy of any other person’s work or photograph, and not previously displayed at a CAG show.
2. The work was created solely by the artist and not under supervision of an instructor.
3. The work is not a photographic computer generated or other form of electronically generated work.
4. Artificial Intelligence, “AI” enhanced or created art and photography is prohibited from entry into the Show.
5. Photographs must be original work.
   
   Images may be displayed on any professional medium (professional papers, canvas, metal, wood, acrylic) and must be printed to industry standards.
   
   Images are allowed to be cropped, rotated, selective dodge and burn, reduce noise, sharpened, adjust color/black-and-white, apply grain, as well as basic retouching. Photo stitching, focus stacking, multi-exposure, etc., is allowed as long as it is shot at the same time and in the same place as a consecutive sequence, seconds or minutes apart. It is NOT allowed to add or move elements by cloning, healing, patching, content-aware fill, liquefy, or similar tools.
6. Three jurors will review the entries. There will be NO refund to entrants, whose work is not accepted in the show.

Measure Carefully
Because this is both an online and in-person show, works over the maximum size will be disqualified, as available screen space is carefully planned and allocated in advance.

Rules for Entry

1. Uploaded using the ShowSubmit portal.
2. Fully representative of the work you would like to show in the online exhibit.
3. Professionally cropped.
4. Shown without frame, mat, glass, or background visible.
5. Presented with the image right side up and not blurry.
6. ShowSubmit is exceptional at resizing images. But it can not improve the quality of low resolution images. Make sure to upload quality images of at least 1500 pixels (on the longer dimension). Otherwise, you will receive an error message alerting you the image resolution is too low and is therefore unacceptable for entry.

• List sizes up to the nearest inch. Size of work is framed size. Entries can’t be changed after entry.
• All works must be wired to gallery standards and must meet professional presentation standards as interpreted by the CAG Show Committee.
• Painting should be framed, or can be unframed if on gallery-wrapped canvas.
• Accepted works cannot be substituted and must be available for the duration of the Show.
• Title and dimensions of entered work cannot be changed.

Image and Filename Specifications

• File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
• Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
• Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
• Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
• File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
• File Size: There is a 30MB maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.

Additional Entry Information

• You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
• After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (October 23, 2026.)
• Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
• Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

Notifications Are Posted in Your Account

Results will be posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on October 26, 2026. You will also receive an email.
