Adult Division
- Best in Show: $350 and a Solo Exhibition at ECAC
- 2nd Place: $175

Juror of Selection and Awards
Sean Hughes
Professor-Educator of Photojournalism and Media Design, University of Cincinnati Award-winning documentary filmmaker and photojournalist.
Eligibility
- Open to professional and amateur photographers, 18 years or older, residing within a 50- mile radius of Evendale, Ohio.
- Students (ages 18 and under, currently enrolled in school) may submit under the Student Division.
- All subject matter and photographic processes welcome; however, artwork will be evaluated for family-friendly appropriateness.
- Maximum of 5 photographs may be submitted.
Entry Fee
- Non-Residents: $10 per image
- Evendale residents: Free entry
- Students 18 and under: Free entry
- Maximum of 5 photographs may be submitted.
All entry fees are non-refundable.
Artwork Requirements
- All entries must be original photography by the submitting artist.
- Digital or film-based photography accepted, including black & white, color, experimental, and mixed techniques.
- No AI-generated work or artwork previously submitted to past Evendale exhibits.
- ECAC will reproduce selected works on weather-resistant panels for outdoor display.
- Photos not appropriate for public/family viewing will be disqualified.
Digital Image Requirements
- Submit through ShowSubmit.com
- Images must be in JPG format
- At least 1500 pixels on the longest side
- 300 dpi resolution
- File size must not exceed 30 mb
- Images must show the artwork only (no mats, frames, or borders)
Submission Process
- Create an account at ShowSubmit.com
- Upload images and descriptions as directed
- Entries must be completed by Monday, September 8, 2025
- No changes to title, price, or information may be made after the deadline.
Notification of Acceptance
- Notifications will be emailed to artists and posted in your ShowSubmit account by Monday, September 15, 2025
- Selected artists must provide high-resolution files for printing
- Final artwork will be reproduced by ECAC on weather-resistant substrates and installed across the Village of Evendale campus
- No substitutions allowed for accepted work
- All work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition
Framing & Installation
Accepted work will be reproduced by ECAC for outdoor display. No physical drop-off of original artwork is required. Selected artists must provide high-res files upon request.

Sales & Liability
- Artwork may be listed for sale or marked nfs
- ECAC will not collect a commission
- All sales inquiries will be referred directly to the artist
- ECAC assumes no liability for loss or damage; by submitting, you agree to allow reproduction of your image for promotional and educational purposes
Agreement/Terms
- Submission indicates acceptance of all conditions stated in this prospectus
- ECAC reserves the right to refuse any image deemed inappropriate for public display
- Selected works may be featured in promotional materials, social media, and the ECAC website

Additional Notification Information
Notifications will be emailed and posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on September 15, 2025.
You may view the notification in your ShowSubmit account by logging in and clicking tapping the Notifications at the top right of the screen, or in your Entry History.
If you do not receive your email, login and view the notification in your account. We cannot respond to inquiries regarding the status of notifications.

Image and Filename Specifications
- File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
- Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
- Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
- Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
- File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
- File Size: There is a 30mb maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.
Additional Entry Information
- You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
- After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (September 8, 2025.)
- Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
- Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
