About the Exhibition
Let’s create some exceptional artwork to close out our first summer at the FALC Gallery! This curated, non-juried exhibition will feature landscapes and still lifes that bring beauty, serenity and an appreciation of the power of fine art to the walls of our Gallery (and to the homes of our buyers!) We are expanding the size limitation to 50 inches to encourage large pieces that can grace any venue. Let’s see what beauty you can create!
Due to venue space limitations, not every entry will be selected for this exhibition. Some unselected pieces may be added to a waitlist.
Member artists of the Fine Arts League of Cary may submit up to four works.

Entry Fee
- FALC Members only: $20 for up to 4 works.
Eligibility Requirements
- Open to all Members of the Fine Arts League of Cary.
- Any 2D artwork is acceptable, such as painting, photography, collaging, mixed media, pastel, pen and ink, etc.
- Size limitation of 50 inches on the longest side including frame.
- 3D, sculpture, crafts, or other forms of decorative arts are not eligible for entry.
Original work shall comply with the following criteria:
- Artificial Intelligence was not used to create the work.
- Digitally created images are acceptable if the entirety of the artwork and all digital elements are solely the creation of the artist, i.e., artwork created on a platform such as Procreate and that is entirely drawn by the artist and printed and framed. The submitted work must be identified as digital art.
- Except as stated above, no computer-generated, digitally manipulated imagery or photoshopping, etc. are allowed.
- Except as stated above, art reproductions including giclees of paintings, art prints, etc., are not eligible. No copies, mechanical reproductions, molds or kit work will be accepted.
Rules for Entry
Each entry of the proposed artwork is to follow the rules below. Failure to follow these rules may result in disqualification of your submission.
- Uploaded using the ShowSubmit portal.
- Shown without frame, mat, glass, or background visible.
- Presented with the image right-side up and not blurry.
- Size limitation of 50 inches on the longest side including frame.
- Work on gallery-wrapped canvas may be unframed if the edges are painted and the canvas is at least 1 ½ inches deep.
- Entries may not be changed after entry deadline.
- Accepted works cannot be substituted once selected and must be available for the duration of the Exhibition.
- Title and dimensions of entered work cannot be changed after Entry Deadline.
- All works must be wired to gallery standards. Accepted artists will receive specific instructions for wiring in their notification email from ShowSubmit.
- Artwork must be labeled on the back with the artist’s name, phone number and email.
- Artwork must be for sale. The Fine Arts League of Cary will receive a commission of 25% of the sale.
- Entries must be family appropriate. FALC has the right to refuse work deemed inappropriate.
Failure to follow these rules may result in disqualification of your submission for consideration.
Sales
Work must be for sale; NFS is not allowed. The Fine Arts League of Cary will receive a commission of 25% of the sale.
Liability
All entries will be handled with the best care possible. However, FALC, its members and the hosting facility shall not be responsible for loss or damage from any cause. By entering any FALC exhibition or venue, the entering member agrees to abide by these rules.
Copyright statement
The artist retains copyright to their image. However, by submitting to this exhibition, artist agrees to FALC's use of the images for publicity (including future FALC event promotion) and archival purposes. Submission of entries constitutes agreement with all conditions set forth in this prospectus.
Additional Notification Information
Notifications will be emailed and posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on August 5, 2026.
If you do not receive your email, login and view the notification in your account. We cannot respond to inquiries regarding the status of notifications.
Image and Filename Specifications
- File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
- Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
- Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
- Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
- File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
- File Size: There is a 30mb maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.
Additional Entry Information
- You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
- After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (July 31, 2026.)
- Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
- Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
