• Best in Show – Solo Show at ARC Fine Art, East Hampton, NY – Spring 2027
  The strongest overall work based on excellence, originality, execution, and impact.
• Juror's Choice Award – $1,000
  A work selected by the jury recognizing the piece that perfectly captures the ‘Energy of Light’, honoring how illumination transforms the East End, creating emotional depth and revealing the dynamic atmospheric vitality unique to the hamptons.
• People's Choice Award
  Selected and awarded by all attendees who attend the show throughout its run (Oct 30th-Nov 28th)

Awards Criteria

• Originality
  Does the work feel distinctive, fresh, personal, or inventive
• Technical skill
  Quality of execution within the chosen medium
• Conceptual strength
  Clarity and depth of idea. Does the work communicate something meaningful, layered, or compelling?
• Emotional or visual impact
  Does the work hold attention? Does it create a strong response or linger in the viewer's mind?
• Use of medium
  How well the artist uses the chosen materials or process. This is especially useful when comparing very different types of work.
• Cohesion between idea and execution
  Does the finished piece successfully realize the artist's intention?
• Fit with the exhibition
  For Hamptons Juried, this could mean how well the work contributes to the strength and identity of the East End exhibition. This does not necessarily mean the work must depict the Hamptons.

Distinguished Jury

• Adrienne Ruger Conzelman is an art dealer, art historian and founder of ARC Fine Art, a contemporary art gallery and advisory firm that has mounted over 3 dozen solo exhibitions and numerous group shows - in Fairfield, Connecticut, New York City, Charleston, East Hampton, and Shelter Island. After 16 years in Connecticut, the gallery re-opened in the spring of 2026 in Amagansett, NY, with a special focus on artists living and working on the East End. During the summer of 2014, 2019 and 2022, the gallery had pop-up locations in East Hampton and Amagansett.
  
  Adrienne holds a BA in Art History from Hamilton College and a Masters in Art History from Williams College, worked as a specialist in American Paintings at Christie’s, and brings decades of advisory experience to the juried table.
• Fairfax Dorn is an arts leader, designer and co-founder of Ballroom Marfa, an internationally recognized contemporary art and performance space in West Texas, established in 2003. She served as Ballroom Marfa’s Executive Director until 2013 and later as Artistic Director, helping shape its reputation for ambitious contemporary art, performance, site-responsive and landmark projects such as Elmgreen and Dragset’s Prada Marfa. Dorn is also the Principal of Fairfax Dorn Projects and serves on several arts boards, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, Calder Gardens, Foundation of Art and Preservation in Embassies/FAPE and theJudd Foundation.
• Coco Myers is the founder and curator of @folioeast.art and author of Light, Sand, and Sea: Hamptons Artists and Their Studios.
  
  Coco grew up in East Hampton among the artists of the Abstract Expressionist movement — many of them family friends whose paintings hung on her parents' walls. After earning a degree in art history at Princeton and years as a magazine editor at Elle and Allure, she returned home and founded folioeast in 2015.
  
  Coco curates the annual ‘Hamptons Artist for Haiti’ auction with over 60 artists participating and served for several years on the East Hampton Arts Council. She has showcased the work of more than 100 East End artists across 100+ exhibits, from Ashawagh Hall to the Watermill Center.
  
  Few people know this community's artists — and its light — better.
• David Netto is a New York-based interior designer and writer. He has written on architecture and design for the The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Cabana, and other publications, and he currently writes the “Case Studies” column for Town & Country. He is the author of monographs on François Catroux and Stephen Sills, and most recently, authored a monograph on architect Rosario Candela. His interiors have appeared in Vogue, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, House & Garden, Town & Country, and Veranda. In 2023, a self-titled book representing 20 years of his own designs was published with Vendome.

Artwork Requirements

• Medium: Original Paintings, Sculpture, Mixed Media
• Size: No size limitations
• Number of Works: Artists may submit up to 3 works for consideration. Show will feature one piece maximum per selected artist.
• Date of Work: Artwork must have been completed within the last 5 years from the date of show.
• Hanging Ready: All pieces must be delivered to ARC Fine Art ready to hang.

Notifications Are Posted in Your Account

Results will be posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on October 19, 2026. You will also receive an email.

Log in and check your account. We are unable to answer individual inquiries about results.

Image and Filename Specifications

• File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
• Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
• Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
• Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
• File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
• File Size: There is a 30MB maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.

Additional Entry Information

• You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
• After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (October 5, 2026.)
• Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
• Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
