About the Exhibition
All Indiana State University students are invited to submit work to the Fall 2026 Annual Juried Student Exhibition for a chance to win prizes and awards in art and design.
All degree-seeking students are eligible, including undergraduate and graduate students from any department or major. Submissions are welcome in all mediums and styles. This year’s juror will be announced in the Fall.

Entry Fees
Eligibility
- Must be a currently enrolled, degree-seeking Indiana State student
- Work must be created while enrolled
- Must submit using ISU email and include student ID
Artwork Guidelines
- Up to 3 works per student
- Diptychs and triptychs count as one piece
- All media accepted (painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, mixed media, video, graphic design, digital art, etc.)
- Maximum 72 inches in any direction
Value / Sales
- List a value/sales price to be eligible for purchase awards and prizes
- To opt out, label work NFS (Not For Sale)
Installation Requirements
- Works on paper/delicate works must be framed (glass or plexiglass)
- Works over 36 inches must use plexiglass
- Canvas must be stretched
- Proper hanging hardware required (wire, D-rings, French cleat)
- Digital prints must be foam-core mounted (no hardware needed)
- Video requirements:
- 1920 × 1080 resolution
- MP4 format
- One file per USB (labeled with title)
- Test files before submission

Uncollected works become property of University Art Galleries and may be retained or disposed of at their discretion.

Notifications will be emailed and posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on September 11, 2026.
If you do not receive your email, login and view the notification in your account. We cannot respond to inquiries regarding the status of notifications.
Image and Filename Specifications
- File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
- Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
- Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
- Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
- File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
- File Size: There is a 30mb maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.
Additional Entry Information
- After your entry is submitted, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (September 4, 2026.)
- Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
