In the event of a sale, NAWA receives the payment, the artist ships the work to the buyer, and the shipping cost would be negotiated with the buyer. Usually the buyer pays that in full.
Taxes: NAWA, headquartered in NY, handles the initial payment for the artwork, so any sales shipping to NY, FL, SC or MA would be charged sales tax according to that state’s tax, since NY is the point of sale, and we have chapters in all those states. Sales tax is not charged to any other state to which a work is shipped.
Work must be for sale; NFS is not allowed.
