About the Show

Holiday Art Show 2026 will be indoors at the Holiday Inn at Ocotillo. Space is very limited, 20-23 artists. This is members only juried show.

OAG shows require significant participation beyond your booth obligations to make this show successful.

Entry Fees

  • $10 application fee (whether you are accepted or not). Paid at time of submission.
  • $60 booth fee by the Wednesday, October 14, 2026 meeting (required participation to promote the show on Social Media, etc.)
  • $120 late payment by Wednesday, October 28, 2026. If not paid by this date, acceptance to show will be rescinded.
  • Payments are non-refundable.
You will receive a paylink for the booth fee when notified by email of acceptance.

We cannot predict or guarantee crowd size. Your help to promote the show is important to all our success.

Required Information for Application

  • Apply for OAG membership and upload photos and licenses through the website: ocotilloartistsgroup.com/membership
  • 3 photos of your original, current work that you intend to show, submitted with permission (granted by signing the application) for promotional purposes.
  • 1 photo of your indoor booth set up (or outdoor set up)
  • Photo or screen shot of TPT showing active Chandler location to your license.

Booth Space

Booths are approximately:
  • Wall space: 8' x 6' (one table, if desired, and 1 chair) or 12' x 4' (1 chair provided, no tables). You must bring your own grid walls or Propanels. Nothing may be attached to the walls.
  • Interior area space: 2 tables (1 at 8' x 2' and 1 at 6' x 18", L shape interior space, 1 chair provided)
  • Hallway space: 9' x 3', may include 1 table and space behind for grids or panels (bring your own lighting)
  • Tables include black table coverings.
  • Electrical hookups are available on the walls and in the floor for center booths. Please bring your own cords, power strips. (Please hide cords, no cords allowed across walkways, only gaffer tape may be used to secure cords.) You may need to share outlets.
  • No artwork or signs may be attached to the walls.
  • For center booths and booths next to the windows, there is a 5' height limit (floor to the top of the display). Wall and window height limit 7-8' for pro panels. Tables are approximately 29-30" high. Maps with more specifics will be made available once the artists are accepted and paid.
  • Artwork for sale must be congruent with the photos submitted with the application.
  • No booth sharing.
  • All extra equipment and supplies must be stored out of sight.
  • Please note: we will attempt to accommodate all artists, but do not guarantee your first choice.

Set Up/Take Down

  • Set up starts at 6:30am. Vendors must enter through the back door of the hotel.
  • Vendors must be onsite at least 1 hour prior to the show.
  • Booth spaces must be show ready by 8:30am.
  • Please move your vehicle after unloading and before setting up your booth.
  • If you have a volunteer task that requires set up the day of, complete the task before setting up your booth. At the end of the day, complete the task before taking down your booth.
  • No take down before 3:00pm.
  • Your booth space must be left clean and free of any trash.

Art for Sale

  • Art for sale must be original and handmade by the juried artist.
  • At least 80% of the artwork (materials) must be handmade by the juried artist.
  • Only the juried artist's art business and art are allowed to be displayed and/or promoted. (Not allowed examples are unrelated business cards, products or promotional items. Allowed examples are other shows the artist is in, art classes the artist teaches.)
  • Political artwork is not allowed.

Business Requirements

  • TPT with City of Chandler and Maricopa County locations active.
  • Chandler Business license if your business is based in Chandler.
  • Proof of TPT and license must be available in your booth during the show.
  • Each artist is responsible for collecting and remitting tax on all sales.
  • Chandler sales tax is currently 7.8%. Please verify prior to the show.

Waiting List

Eligible applicants who did not receive a space assignment will be placed on a waiting list. Available spaces will be filled from this list.

Volunteering and Promotion

Due to the nature of an indoor show, it is imperative that all artists are required to be actively involved in promoting the show.

By submitting the application and acceptance in the show artists agree to promote the show by:
  • Marking themselves as going on the FB event on the Ocotillo Artists Group Public Page
  • Like, comment and share OAG show posts.
  • Share and promote the event on your social media pages and stories.
  • Post on personal website.
  • Share OAG show posts on your local social pages and groups.
  • Send a notice in your newsletter or email list.
  • Hand out show postcards at your other events.
Artists are required to participate in one or more volunteer positions for this event. (Contact Dalena with your preferences.)
  • Post cards (taking them to local businesses to hand out to their customers)
  • Signage (placing signs prior to the event and taking them down after)
  • Print promotions (magazines, newspapers)
  • OAG social media promotions (create and post reels, posts and stories)
  • Online event postings (we have a list)
  • Day of assistance (labeling booth spaces, signs in the hotel, set up and take down of the OAG information tables)
  • Arrange music and sound system
We ask that you be available to assist/mentor the next person in the next show to do your position if you are not in the show or change tasks.

Professional Conduct

  • Artists are expected to follow all rules of the hotel, including limiting smoking to designated areas.
  • Alcohol is prohibited for artists before and during show hours.
  • Any disrespectful or unprofessional conduct toward art patrons, hotel staff, OAG staff or other artists is forbidden, and you may be asked to leave. This may prevent you from participating in future OAG shows.
  • Some booth spaces will be very close to each other. Stay within your space and be considerate of your fellow artists.
  • Wear your OAG name tag.

Parking

There is free parking around the hotel. You will be given a map showing load in/out and artist parking areas. Park only in designated areas to allow access to the hotel and surrounding businesses for patrons.

General Information

  • Free admission to the public
  • Jury committee may limit the number of artists in various categories to ensure a diverse mix of art.
  • Cancellation of the show will only occur if circumstances beyond our control prevent safe access to or in the show location.
  • OAG promotion will include social media, printed media, postcards, email blasts and signage.
  • OAG typically has volunteers that can assist in holding open doors to the hotel but cannot assist with your artwork or supplies. We may or may not have enough volunteers to booth sit, but it is a small venue, and the bathroom is across the hallway.

Liability

  • OAG, OAG members and Holiday Inn are not responsible for any stolen or damaged items before, during or after the event.
  • The hotel's insurance covers OAG but does not cover individual artists.
  • It is highly recommended artists have their own show insurance. (Many artists purchase vendor insurance policies with ACT.)

Terms of Entry

I hereby certify that I will sell only original artwork and handmade items in the single category for which they have been juried. This may include fine art prints, giclee's, note cards, scarves, home décor, ornaments and other items only if the artwork has been designed by the artist. If you are selling the above-mentioned items, you must also have original work available for purchase. Artist will be asked to leave if these rules are violated. Fees will not be returned.

I understand that items mass produced, MLM and food vendors are not allowed.

I understand that I am responsible for my own day of event insurance, payment system, receipts, collecting and remitting taxes to the proper entities.

I agree to not hold Ocotillo Artists Group, its members, staff, volunteers, SLAB Studio LLC, Sandy Ashbaugh Ceramics, Sandy Ashbaugh, Holiday Inn, neighboring businesses or any other entity, responsible for any wrongdoing or mishap that may occur.

I understand that failure to comply with the show rules and terms may result in dismissal from this show and/or disqualify artists from future OAG events.

Image and Filename Specifications

  • File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
  • Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
  • Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
  • Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
  • File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
  • File Size: There is a 30MB maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.

Additional Entry Information

  • You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
  • After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (September 25, 2026.)
  • Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
  • Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

Notifications Are Posted in Your Account

Results will be posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on October 5, 2026. You will also receive an email.
