Del-Bourree Bach, del-bourreebach.com
Contemporary realist Del-Bourree Bach is known for his striking and almost tactile depictions of man and nature. Although many of his paintings are inspired by the sea and the life in and around it, he enjoys painting many subjects from rural farms to western vistas to city sidewalks. His painting invites viewers to enter into the scene and challenge them to create their own stories and impressions. Primarily a studio painter, he works mainly in acrylic, but also enjoys transparent watercolor.
Del's work is included in many private and public collections including the Florence Griswold Museum in CT, the Albrecht Kemper Museum in MO, the Salmagundi Club New York and the U. S. Embassy and Coast Guard Art Collections. He has received over 250 awards in regional, national and international competition including the George Gray Award from the U.S. Coast Guard, the Robert Sanstrom Prize and Gold Medal from the National Society of Painter in Casein and Acrylic (the first artist honored with this award) and the Silver Medal of Honor from the Allied Artists of America and Audubon Artists. He was honored by the Artists for Conservation for "Artistic Excellence and Extraordinary Dedication to Conservation". In 2016 he was awarded Best Acrylic Painting in the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Best of America and achieved Master Status, an honor shared by only a dozen living artists.
Antonio Lones, antoniolones.com
Antonio Lones has been creating artwork for over ten years. He began his artistic journey in his home country of El Salvador, and later moved to the United States. He has a body of work that includes still lifes, portraits, and figurative work. Antonio is an instructor at ARA Boston.
Currently, Antonio is exploring the use of everyday objects in his paintings. He seeks to capture the beauty of simple things: a pair of boots, a small squash, or some sunflowers. His paintings reveal to the viewer the shapes, colors, and forms of objects that often go unnoticed.
Antonio draws inspiration for his artwork from his worldview and his ability to tell a personal story, often sharing the culture of his native country in his paintings. He strives to create balance in his paintings through his astute understanding of artistic elements, such as composition, design, and color harmonies.
