Eligibility
- This Exhibition is open to all PPSCC members.
- 80% of the exposed surface must be dry pastel. No oil pastels.
- There is no artwork size limitation.
- Must be entirely the work of the artist and not copied from other artists’ work, photos or publications.
- Must not have been created under supervision (as in a workshop or class).
- Works that have been exhibited in any previous PPSCC shows are not eligible for entry.
- Work must have been completed in the last three years.
- Work may be listed as NFS (not for sale).
PPSCC reserves the right to refuse any painting that does not meet these standards.
There will be no commission on sales.

Emerging Artist Category
This category is open to any member with non-professional status who has not yet won awards in national or international shows, is not a signature member of a pastel society, and is not represented by a gallery.

Artists may enter up to two pieces into one category and receive only one award in the show.
Awards will be presented at the PPSCC Annual Meeting on Sunday, November 3, 1:00–3:00 pm. This is an online-only exhibit and will be published on the PPSCC website: ppscc.org
We encourage all members to participate in this non-juried opportunity to show your work. Save the expense of framing, shipping and travel, and there are no commissions on sales!

Shuk Susan Lee
Shuk Susan Lee is a pastel artist based in Newton, MA. Having lived in Hong Kong and Boston and visited many multicultural cities abroad, Susan relates to diverse people and cultural themes. Her inspiration often comes from the places she has visited, the people she has met, stories or poetry she has encountered, and music that has moved her emotionally. Susan has created series in various genres, including portraits, landscapes, and cityscapes. Recently, her focus has been on painting figures in different settings, sometimes within surrealistic worlds. Her goal is to engage the audience through personal storytelling, as she believes that artwork must go beyond technique and touch the viewer's heart.

Susan has won awards in national and international juried shows and has exhibited at the National Arts Club and the Butler Institute of American Art. Her work has been published in American Art Collector magazine. A juried member of the International Guild of Realism, Salmagundi Club, and Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, she has also achieved “IAPS/Master Circle” and Signature status in the Pastel Society of America, in addition to the American Artists Professional League and seven other pastel societies.
Entering your images
- Artists may submit up to 2 images of paintings
- If you are selling your work framed, indicate in the Frame Size Field.

Entry and Fees
- $25 for up to two images. The entry is paid via Credit/Debit card to ShowSubmit upon submission.
- Current PPSCC Membership dues must be paid in full, and entry fees are non-refundable. Please contact PPSCC at ppscc.org/membership if you want to sign up or renew your membership.
Sales
- Prices may not be changed after submission is completed and after entry deadline.
- PPSCC will put interested buyers in direct contact with the artist, and the artist will be entirely responsible for any sales.
- No commissions will be charged!!!
- As a condition of entry to the PPSCC Members Only Online Show, the submitting artist agrees to the terms and conditions stated herein including granting permission to the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod and ShowSubmit to reproduce the accepted paintings on their websites and for advertising and promotional purposes only.

Image and Filename Specifications
- Submit your original JPEG image files.
- Crop out all parts of the photo that are not the actual work; do not show mat, frame, etc, only the work itself.
- Image must be displayed right side up.
- You do not need to resize your image files.
- You do not need to rename your image files.
Additional Entry Information
- You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
- After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (October 23, 2024.)
- Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
- Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
