Artist Statement
As an artist I strive to be a learner who always initiates and integrates new concepts and strategies to my work which is ever-changing in style and approach as I continually study the images, language, ideas, thoughts, and beliefs that arise from the process of culture. One constant of my practice has been writing with embedded images often to make books which are a multi-disciplinary form that I find endlessly provocative. I appreciate books for their intimacy, touch, narrative or sequence, portability, affordability, and one-to-one engagement connecting the personal and the public.
