Accepted artists will also have the opportunity to upload up to 10 additional artworks to our Gallery database online portfolio which is available to clients and where we request artwork for additional shows throughout the year.
There is a customary 50/50 split between the artist and the gallery on all sales. All accepted artwork shall remain on exhibit for the duration of the show, including any sold items.
Artists who do not utilize Air Float boxes will incur a $35 unpacking/packing charge.
We do not have storage or are responsible for artwork that is not picked up. Retrieval of hand-delivered items is scheduled for Monday, March 4, 2024 between 3-7pm at Art Studio Hamptons Gallery.

Exhibition
“A MOMENT IN TIME” exhibition will showcase artworks that capture fleeting moments, emotions, or beauty in transient aspects of life.
Media can include oils, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, oil pastel, encaustic, colored pencil, silverpoint, graphite, pen and ink, digital art, photography, scratchboard, charcoal, small sculpture and mixed media.

Accepted Artists
All accepted artists artwork will be exhibited at the “A MOMENT IN TIME” Exhibition at Art Studio Hamptons Gallery in Westhampton Beach, New York. from January 14, 2024-March 3, 2024.
Accepted artists will also have the opportunity to upload up to 10 additional artworks to our Gallery database online portfolio which is available to clients and where we request artwork for additional shows throughout the year.
Entry Fees
- Up to 3 works.
- $25 for the first work.
- $10 for each additional work.
Entry fees are non-refundable. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
Eligiblility
- Open to all national and international artists.
- Accepted mediums include oils, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, oil pastel, encaustic, colored pencil, silverpoint, graphite, pen and ink, digital art, photography, scratchboard, charcoal, sculpture and mixed media.
- Outside dimensions of frame may not exceed 30 inches in any direction.
- Artists are responsible for providing images with an accurate representation of their work.
- All accepted artworks must be professionally framed with wire for hanging. Works not received by the stated dates will not be hung.
- Acceptance/Rejection emails will arrive via ShowSubmit.
- Artists can edit their own entries during the entirety of the submission period through ShowSubmit.
- After the submission deadline, changes to submission entry will not be accepted.
- Submissions not adhering to the above guidelines may be omitted from the exhibition.
Jurors
Our selection committee is comprised of art industry professionals from a variety of disciplines including art gallery representation, graphic arts, art educators and fine
artists. We use this judging format to provide diverse and informed insight to provide a well-rounded platform for selection of artworks. Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, technique/skill, presentation, and overall quality and cohesiveness within the show.
Sales
Work must be for sale; NFS is not allowed.

Artwork Delivery
Accepted artwork may be hand-delivered to Art Studio Hamptons Gallery, 108 Main Street #2, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 on Monday, January 8, 2024 between 3-7pm
Shipped Work
After acceptance, works being shipped must be sent in Air Float boxes with the name of the exhibition on the outside of the package.
Artists who do not utilize Air Float boxes will incur a $35 unpacking/packing charge.
Artwork Removal
Works must be removed immediately after the exhibition. A pre-paid return shipping label must be provided by the artist, if the work is to be shipped back after the exhibition.

Additional Notification Information
Notifications will be emailed and posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on December 27, 2023.
You may view the notification in your ShowSubmit account by logging in and clicking tapping the Notifications at the top right of the screen, or in your Entry History.
If you do not receive your email, login and view the notification in your account. We cannot respond to inquiries regarding the status of notifications.

Image and Filename Specifications
- File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
- Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
- Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
- Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
- File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
- File Size: There is a 30mb maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.
Additional Entry Information
- You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
- After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (December 22, 2023.)
- Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
- Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
