Exhibition Description

The exhibition is a joint project of MBPAPA and the Natividad Medical Foundation. The medical center is celebrating two events this year. One is the 10 year anniversary of the Trauma Center. The second milestone is the 50 years of the Residency program. All of which epitomizes dedication. Behind each of our paintings are hours, years of dedication to our craft of painting.

Painting Requirements

  • Paintings are to be done in plein air. That means that 85% of the painting must be created on site. The theme is open to scenes from anywhere in California.
  • They may not have been exhibited in a prior MBPAPA show
  • All paintings will be hand delivered to the show, framed.
  • There is no need for hanging devices. They will not be used. The paintings’ dimensions can be of any size.
  • Canvas wrap is not acceptable.
  • Artwork must remain up for the duration of the exhibit. No early pick up.
Please note: In addition to the usual information on the back of your painting, each piece should have a removable label on the Front of each work with title and name of artist. These “stickies” will be removed once the wall labels are up.

Sales

All paintings must be for sale, with 70% of the sales revenue going to the artist and 30% going to Natividad Medical Foundation’s Spiritual Care Fund. Please price your art accordingly. There will be no later change of price once the painting has been juried in.

Location

This exhibit will be hosted by Natividad Medical Foundation and will be hung on the second floor of Natividad Medical Center, near the Foundation offices. The show will hang for approximately one year.
