2023 Membership Online Exhibition

This is a fabulous opportunity to enter your best work in PAO Membership Online Exhibition without the expenses involved in framing and shipping.

There are two categories for awards;

Emerging Pastel Artists:
PAO members who have not yet attained signature membership status in ANY pastel society and have not won an award in any pastel societies’ INTERNATIONAL OPEN EXHIBITION.

Established Artists:
PAO members who have achieved Signature, Master or Eminent pastel membership status in ANY pastel society, including PAO.

PAO members: $35 for one image, $45 for 2 images, $50 for 3 images entered.

Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by entry deadline. Acceptance is not guaranteed.

Work may be for sale; NFS is allowed.

Purchasers will be given Artist's contact information. Artists will handle the sales and shipping, no commission to be paid to PAO. (Shipping artwork unframed is an option at the artist’s and purchasers discretion.)

Eve Miller
Eve Miller was born in Brussels, Belgium. After moving to New York, her family settled in the Hudson Valley. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Two Master of Arts in French and Spanish.

Reminiscent of the landscapes in Belgium and Long Island, Eve found a muse in the marshes of the Lowcountry. She is fascinated by the ever changing light of day and the seasons, and is committed to a daily painting practice. Eve has taught for several years in person weekly classes and workshops. She has also taught online classes

Eve Miller is an award winning artist with the following designations:

Signature Member of The Pastel Society of America, Pastel Society of Colorado and Maryland, Pastel Society of the West Coast, Spain Pastel Society, Member of Excellence Southeastern Pastel Society, American Artists Professional League~ Fellow Maxima Cum Laude and Master Circle Member of the International Associations of Pastel Societies among others.

Eve is represented locally at the I. Pinckney Simons Gallery

Additional Notification Information

Notifications will be emailed by the end of the day on September 25, 2023. We cannot respond to inquiries regarding the status of notifications before that time.

After notifications are sent, you may view the status of your entry in your ShowSubmit artist account’s Entry History. Accepted works will be notated by a green check.

If you do not receive your email, you may also view your notification letter using the View Notification link in your Entry History.

Note: Entries made prior to 2023 may not display the View Notification link.

Image and Filename Specifications

• Submit your original JPEG image files.
• Crop out all parts of the photo that are not the actual work; do not show mat, frame, etc, only the work itself.
• Image must be displayed right side up.
• You do not need to resize your image files.
• You do not need to rename your image files.

Additional Entry Information

• You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
• After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (September 11, 2023.)
• Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
• Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
