Loriann Signori PSA
loriannsignori.com

Loriann Signori is an artist who lives in Maryland. She is recognized as an Eminent Pastelist with the IAPS and a signature artist with PSA. She trained in painting at Swain School of Design (BFA) and American University (MFA) and is a popular faculty member of the PSA Academy program.

Her works are about the delicate place where perception shifts. Light breathes upon light, and rather than show an object as it is, she instead evokes the idea through light and atmosphere. It is an incremental balance to bring a state of the soul. You may find her work in Pastel Journal, Plein Air and Pratique des Arts. Most recently she won the Bronze Award in the Pastel 100. Warm Springs Gallery in Warm Springs, VA represents her.

Writing for the Washington Post, Mark Jenkins describes Signori's work as "walking away from the specific and toward the transcendental. The loveliest pictures have an otherworldly glow."
