Judge of Awards

Anna Lapygina is an artist and a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists and the National Pastel Society of Russia. She graduated with honors from the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts in 2008 and later taught at the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts. Anna has also worked as a production designer, staging performances at drama theaters in St. Petersburg.

She has participated in the painting of Orthodox churches in Russia, Finland, and South Africa. Anna has received numerous awards both in Russia and abroad, including the Best in Show Award at the Orange Exhibition, presented by Albert Handell. She has held several solo exhibitions, and her works have been featured in prestigious journals such as Ostwind (Germany) and Pratique des Arts (France).

Currently, Anna is raising three children and enjoys spending her free time painting with pastels and traveling.

Juror of Selection

Loriann Signori is a painter of light, air, and energy. While her preferred mediums have always been oil or pastel, her methods, techniques and aesthetic aims have all undergone significant transformation. Her paintings, situated between abstraction and recognizable form, are explorations of the color of air and beauty. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Swain School of Design and under full fellowship, her Master of Fine Arts at American University. Her work is included in private, corporate and museum collections in the US and abroad. Most recently you may see articles about her work in Pratique des Arts, Pastel Journal and New York Art. She is recognized as an Eminent Pastelist with the International Pastel Society, and a winner of the President’s Award in 2024.
