While we know that you have been through the Jury Day experience and have been honored with this distinction, we want you to know that this exhibition, and all the Sonoran Arts League Gallery exhibitions going forward (with the exception of the New Members Exhibition), will be juried by outside, paid jurors. This adds a level of objective professionalism to all our exhibitions and allows us to display the best of all the incredible entries, up to Gallery capacity.
Submission Process
All submissions are processed online through ShowSubmit. If you are using ShowSubmit for the very first time, you will be required to set up an account with a username and password.
Images
- Without frames.
- Properly lit and produced for inclusion in the on-line show gallery.
- High resolution JPEG image, maximum file size limit is 30 mb.
- Image files are automatically renamed using your last name, first initial and the title of the work.
Artwork Requirements
- Must be the artist’s original work.
- The artist must own the sole copyright to art.
- No copy giclee prints allowed (photography & digitally produced prints are allowed as originals).
- Must be for sale (No NFS).
- Clearly labeled with the artist’s name, title of work & medium and price upon delivery and attached to the back of the artwork. Sticky notes are not acceptable.
- All 2-D wall displayed art must be wired.
Entry Fees
- Sonoran Arts League Juried Members only: $40 for up to 3 submissions.
- Jewelers may submit up to 10 pieces (sets are considered one piece) and should supply display materials.

Commission
Sales
The Sonoran Arts League will make payment of the sale price less the commission (30%) of all sold artwork directly to the artist. Checks will be available 10 days following the closing of the exhibition. With the sale of work, the artist is encouraged to bring in new artwork as approved by the League office as replacement for the sold piece.

Curating begins at Noon. Please, honor our 10 am to Noon timeline. If you are late, your work may not be accepted. The Gallery Hanging Committee appreciates your support and understanding.
Artwork Pick up
Artwork must be dropped off and picked up during the designated time. Be sure that you can commit to the delivery and pick up dates or have someone who can act on your behalf. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility for the next Call to Art. Please honor our volunteers’ time, and the Gallery’s incapacity to store art that is not actively installed. Thank you for your cooperation.
Display Requirements
- Gallery Ready works include D-rings or screw eyes and wire for paintings.
- New: Images printed on metal with metal inset frames will be accepted, the wire is not required.
- Pieces with saw-tooth hangers will not be accepted.
- No filament fishing line is acceptable, all mounting must be strong enough to support the weight of the artwork.
- For 2D artwork on canvases, artwork on canvases or panels must be gallery wrapped or framed if less than 1 ½” in depth.
- Maximum weight is 35 pounds.
- Maximum height 66 inches.
- For wall-mounted sculpture, if you require a system other than a standard picture hanger, the artist must provide the hanging system and must either mount the piece and/or supervise the hanging process.
- 3D work should fit on a pedestal of approximately 16” square.

Additional Notification Information
Notifications will be emailed and posted in your ShowSubmit account by the end of the day on April 11, 2025.
You may view the notification in your ShowSubmit account by logging in and clicking tapping the Notifications at the top right of the screen, or in your Entry History.
If you do not receive your email, login and view the notification in your account. We cannot respond to inquiries regarding the status of notifications.
Note: Entries made prior to 2023 may not display the View Notification link.
Image and Filename Specifications
- File Format: Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files. Other formats (e.g., PNG, TIFF) are not accepted.
- Crop Your Image: Ensure only the artwork itself is visible in the image. Do not show any visible matting, frames, or background distractions.
- Orientation: Make sure your image is oriented correctly (right side up) so that the artwork appears in its intended viewing direction.
- Image Size: You do not need to resize your image files before uploading. The system will automatically resize them. Smaller images cannot be enlarged to meet the requirements, so ensure your images are high resolution before uploading.
- File Names: You do not need to rename your files before uploading them. The system will handle any file naming requirements.
- File Size: There is a 30mb maximum file size limit. Larger image files will take longer to upload and process.
Additional Entry Information
- You will pay for your entry by credit or debit card using our secure checkout system.
- After your entry is submitted and paid for, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images up until the entry deadline (March 21, 2025.)
- Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
- Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
