Image is too small

ShowSubmit resizes and renames your artwork to meet show specifications. However, if an image is smaller than the minimum required size, you will receive a warning, e.g.:

The image should be at least 1500px on the longest edge. The current image is 800px x 600px. Please select a larger JPG of your work.

ShowSubmit can resize images that are larger than the specifications for the call, but we cannot enlarge images that are too small. Small images will be saved as is and may not display well in the jury panel, which could affect their review or lead to disqualification. For the best results, upload high-resolution images.

Tip for Uploading Images:
  • When selecting images to upload or transferring them between devices (e.g., via email), always choose original or actual size to ensure the highest quality is maintained.
  • iPhones and iPads, for example, may reduce image sizes by default when emailing images between devices.
  • If you find yourself emailing images between devices, try uploading to ShowSubmit directly. Our entire process is mobile device friendly!
Note: Some organizations may disqualify artwork whose images do not meet the specifications.
